What does the raised screen lip on the personalised iPhone tough case do?
It's a 1.5mm tall edge around the entire screen perimeter. When the iPhone lands face-down, the case edge contacts the surface first, suspending the screen 1.5mm above the impact zone. This prevents about 90% of face-down screen breaks in everyday drops.
Are the ports on the personalised iPhone tough case sealed?
The USB-C / Lightning port has a silicone flap cover that seals flush when not in use, then flips open for charging. Same for the headphone jack on older iPhones that have one. Not waterproof (we don't pressure-test), but enough to keep dust, sand and pocket lint out.
