Creator Programme Terms

These terms cover what we expect from creators on the DMC Creator Programme, and what you can expect from us. Keep them in mind when you submit a design.
1. Your designs must be your own work
You may only submit designs you personally created. Don't upload artwork, photos, logos, brand marks, fonts, characters or anything else you don't own the rights to use. If you used a stock asset, you need a licence that covers commercial print.
If we receive a credible copyright or trade mark claim against one of your designs, we will pull it from sale and may suspend your account while we look into it.
2. What you grant us by submitting
When you submit a design, you give DMC a non-exclusive licence to:
- Display the design on the public Creators page and on related marketing.
- Print it onto phone cases and accessories for paying customers.
- Show the design's thumbnail in search results, emails, and social posts that promote the programme.
You keep the underlying ownership of your design. You can withdraw a submission at any time from your account.
3. Commission
When a customer buys a case using one of your approved designs, you earn a commission based on the line subtotal (excluding VAT, shipping and any discounts). The current rate is set on your profile and confirmed at approval.
Commissions move from "pending" to "approved" after the order's return window has closed. Refunds and chargebacks reverse the matching commission.
4. Payouts
You can raise a payout request from your dashboard once your approved balance reaches your minimum payout. We aim to process payouts within seven working days of approval. Payment methods supported: UK bank transfer or PayPal.
You're responsible for any income tax due on the commissions you earn.
5. Moderation
Every submission is reviewed by a human before it goes live. We can reject anything that:
- Infringes someone else's intellectual property.
- Contains slurs, hateful content, sexual content, graphic violence, or anything else we wouldn't want printed and shipped to a stranger.
- Promotes a product, brand or service in a way that conflicts with our marketplace.
- Looks low-effort or AI-generated without meaningful creator input.
We may pull approved designs at any time if we discover an issue. If we suspend your account, your balance still pays out for any commissions earned beforehand.
6. Ending the arrangement
You can leave the programme at any time by withdrawing your submissions and contacting support. We will close your profile and pay out any approved balance you have left.
We may close your account if you breach these terms or behave in a way that puts the platform or our customers at risk.
7. Changes
We can update these terms when the programme changes. Material changes are emailed to active creators. Carry on submitting and you accept the updated version.
